We have chosen the nest as our communication symbol in our advertising campaign.

Immediately referring to "being at home", the nest is a place where you naturally feel good, where you like going back to.

In association with these pictures, values such as "tailor-made", "family-run", "intimate" or "contemporary" define the new Grange identity with elegance, refinement and simplicity.

Tailor-made : Our firm is active in the property management of rented apartment and commercial buildings owned by institutionals, municipalities or individuals. Our management includes rented condominiums and floor co-ownerships (PPE), and also villas.
We can value your property for rental or for sale purposes and advise you on what should be done with your real estate properties.

Intimate: Because of our structure made of small management groups, each client has a personal contact with one of the partners or managers, and can benefit from a full range of services provided by the whole of our 61-strong team.

Family-run : 100% of the share capital of the company is held by the 5th generation of the Grange family working in the firm, namely Beatrice Grange, Cyril Grange, Nicolas Grange and Yves Grange, all of them being partners in the two agencies of the company.
Although it has developed considerably for 15 years, Régie Grange has kept a family-like atmosphere, thus building up staff loyalty and strengthening contacts with customers.

Contemporary : Always at the cutting edge of IT development, our firm has kept up with new technologies ever since they have appeared in the real estate industry. With our attractive and efficient website, our visitors can rapidly have a glance at all our objects. .
The owners may also get online financial information on their properties.

Activities

Management of rented property
Our property management service consists of seven specialised groups, each reporting to a Manager. Each group includes secretaries, managers and technical experts, thus forming a cohesive team.

Management of Co-ownership properties
A specialised team looks after the management of co-ownership properties, a role which involves taking care of technical, administrative and financial issues relating to the communal parts of a building, including organising and running the annual general meeting.

The residential rental division (villas, luxury apartments)
is responsible for the administrative and technical follow-up of rentals. This division is separate from management for it needs a special approach with fluency in English, in order to deal with international tenants. The division also estimates potential rents when an object is rented for the first time

The commercial rental division
is more specifically devoted to looking for office and shop tenants. They take in requests for commercial premises and offer vacant surfaces to registered applicants.

Sale
Our in-depth knowledge of the local market, combined with our know-how developed over many years and our extensive range of contacts enable us to meet our client’s aims without delay.

Our sales service will be happy to help you find the apartment or villa of your dreams.

To enable us to respond to the needs of our numerous clients, we have joined the Courtiers partenaires sales network (Naef, Pilet-Renaud, Bory, Brolliet, De Rham, etc.). Thanks to this partnership, we can offer you properties (sending particulars, providing information and arranging visits) introduced by our fellow agencies in the network (=> saving time, providing a huge selection, increased transparency -all at no additional cost).

Development
We can search for land, produce financial studies showing the feasibility of a development using market data, co-operate with the architect to obtain planning permission, look for appropriate sources of finance, manage the construction and prepare for the future administration of the building.

Marketing
The aim of this role is to organise the newly-constructed building, distribute the total rental by dwelling on the basis of specific criteria, obtain Orders from the Council of State for all subsidised buildings, look for tenants, produce tenancy agreements and look after the technical organisation of the building.

Accounts
This section looks after all accounting aspects of property management, property companies and co-ownership properties. Its IT system meets all current needs and can be developed in line with clients’ particular requirements.

Legal
Our legal section, managed by a qualified lawyer, provides advisory services to our clientele of property owners and, in particular, looks after all disputes arising during the course of our property management activity.

Logistics
This division is responsible for maintaining an efficient information system as well as our website grange.ch and our intranet. They are in charge of the equipment purchase management and also make our "corporate identity" more uniform by implementing the adopted communication strategy. .

A new name

The event which marked 2000, from our company’s point of view, was without doubt the change of company name. After taking over the real estate portfolio of the Régie Robert CORTHAY in 1991, followed by that of the Régie J. VOLPÉ & FILS in 1994, our company, known as G&C GRANGE, CORTHAY, VOLPÉ SA, Gérance et Courtage, became simply GRANGE & CIE SA - Agence immobilière.

History

In 1869, François-Louis Grange linked up with Mr Carey to create Régie CAREY & GRANGE. This marked the beginning of a long family saga…By 1879, just ten years later, a significant initiative was to underscore the necessary and fundamental role of real estate managers in the life of Geneva, when the Société des Régisseurs de Genève was founded.

The raison d’être of the association of property managers in Geneva, of which Grange & Carey was one of the founding members, is quite simple.

With the city surrounded by its fortifications, the only room for growth was upwards. With dwellings in Geneva becoming taller and larger, it was increasingly difficult for owners to manage a large number of such properties unaided. For this reason, property managers were established in Geneva during the nineteenth century.

As regards this company in particular, it has now been a force in the real estate market, from generation to generation, for over 130 years.

Today, Grange & Cie SA, 100% owned by the Grange family, is a real estate company which has succeeded in expanding while at the same time retaining its human scale. Our key advantages are, more than ever: skill, dynamism and personal attention.
